Fylde Rugby Club and The Envelope Works Ltd are delighted to announce a major shirt sponsorship deal for the upcoming 2019-20 season. The EW logo will proudly feature on the front of the Club’s 1st XV shirts at the Woodlands Memorial Ground and around opposing clubs in the North and Midlands of England.

The Envelope Works operate from two sites, their purpose-built production site in Blackburn (Lancashire) and in Doetinchem in the Netherlands. Their extensive bespoke envelope production facilities house a broad range of machinery including reel-to-reel litho Muller Martini NT web presses, W&D 102 flexo & Reel to Reel machines for conversion. Together with numerous Halm litho envelope overprinting machines printing 1-5 colour UV, this large plant list enables their experienced and dedicated team to meet the needs of all their clients.
The Envelope Works is a committed supporter of sport in Lancashire and for many years has been a major corporate sponsor at Blackburn Rovers FC. This is their first venture into rugby sponsorship and Fylde RFC is delighted that they’ve chosen the Woodlands-based club to celebrate their 20th anniversary, and on the occasion of Fylde’s Centenary.
Fylde RFC competes in the National Two (North) division against such well known opposition as Loughborough Students, Wharfedale, Sedgley Park and local friends and rivals Preston Grasshoppers. The Club is a widely respected and famous brand in English rugby and has produced many British Lions and international players since its formation in 1919.
It is a true community club situated at the heart of Lytham St Annes, running four senior teams, a Colts squad and 10 Mini-Junior age group teams. Over 400 players make up these squads and play in the famous claret, gold and white hooped shirts every week during the 35 week season. It’s Community Department takes rugby out to schools and colleges on the Fylde Coast.
