The last three years have seen the UK economy go through incredible amount of uncertainty, yet The Envelope Works has continued to perform impressively despite these difficulties and has increased it’s annual turnover by an impressive 20% year on year, as revealed in Print Week.

Continuing this trend, the company has had an exceptional start to 2012 as well, generating an additional £530,000 increase in sales over the same period last year.

This growth has coincided with the completion of the company’s largest ever order of 29million envelopes for Children with Cancer on behalf of Ink Print Management.

Mark Farrimond, Managing Director, commented

“We have utilised our growth as an opportunity to heavily invest within our company; we have created a new sales office, design studio, production office, IT and MIS system, all within the last 12months.

In addition to these building, infrastructure and process improvements, we have also increased our staffing levels by 25% to ensure our customer levels remain as some of the very best in the envelope industry.

This has culminated in winning the 29million envelope order for Children with Cancer; a project which took 4 months to bring to fruition and an additional 3 weeks of production, after the artwork was signed off and delivery was completed.”
