The Reel Envelope Company proudly opened its doors for business last week from its new purpose-built 32,500 sq ft production plant in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Production is centred around two reel-to-reel high-speed five-colour Muller Martini NT litho web presses, capable of processing 530mm-wide jumbo reels, supported by W&D 102 rotary envelope machine’s to convert the reels into finished envelopes.
In addition to the full-ink coverage benefit provided by printing reel-to-reel, the two Muller Martini presses are the ONLY reel-fed envelope presses in the UK that have been granted full GMG / FOGRA colour certification.

In addition, the sales team are driven by Sharon Lambert (former Tompla National Sales Manager) and Sarah Clough, and a studio team led by Debbie Whittaker.
The experience doesn’t stop there, with the print and manufacturing team each possessing 15 years or more continuous service in the envelope industry.
