The Envelope Works Group was extremely proud to support the latest Sportsman’s Dinner organised by Neil Pilkington and held at Ewood Park, with ex-Manchester United and England star Lee Sharpe as the guest speaker.
Held on September 25th, the event raises funds for the Crown Paints Junior Football Club to ensure that children in the local area benefit from being able to learn and play football.
Mark Farrimond donated 2 VIP tickets to the Blackburn v Burnley Championship match that is being held at Ewood Park on Saturday October 24th, and being screeend live on Sky Sports 1. The match is known for being one of the most fiercestly contested derby’s across the land.
The VIP package includes:
- Champagne and Canapes on arrival
- Tour of the ground which includes:- boardroom, players tunnel.
- Signed photograph Pitch side with a Rovers Player
- Three course meal
- Half time refreshments

Neil has now held 33 similar dinners in aid of the club, dating back to 1997, and this event was attended by 300 people and successfully raised £6,000;
“Holding sportsman’s dinners are vital for the club because the money we raise keeps us going for the year,” he added. “Nearly every other club is in the same situation as us.
“If we didn’t run such events then it would be difficult to keep going.
“That money will help pay for pitch fees, training facilities and the general day to day running of the club.”
