WHO WE ARE?
A PURPOSE BUILT ENVELOPE POWERHOUSE
Founded in 1999, The Envelope Works operates from a state-of-the-art 40,000 sq ft production facility located in Blackburn, Lancashire. Over the years, we have experienced continuous growth, establishing ourselves as one of the leading envelope manufacturing and printing companies in the UK, renowned for our flexibility and commitment to quality.
Our 24/7 Production facility includes reel-to-reel high-speed five-colour Muller Martini NT litho web presses, capable of processing 530mm-wide jumbo reels, supported by W&D 102 rotary envelope machines to convert the reels into finished envelopes.
Furthermore, aside from the superior quality offered by printing reel-to-reel and its impressive speeds, we’ve made significant investments in a colour management system to ensure precise colour reproduction. For every job we undertake, we generate an ISO contract colour proof, ensuring accuracy throughout the printing process. Our Muller Martini NT web press, along with all our colour overprinting presses, is calibrated and configured to achieve the desired colours consistently.
We also boast one of the largest envelope overprinting facilities in the UK, all this is supported by an experienced Production planning and graphics team underpinned with a state of the art reprographics studio and equipment.
