The Envelope Works Ltd, after 6 months of hard work, has successfully gained ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management System standard.

Adrian Booth, Operations Manager has been leading the project for The Envelope Works to gain this environmental standard. Adrian commented:

‘The envelope works has always tried to improve the business, through certified standards, quality products and very good customer service, it was essential for the company to gain this environmental standard and after 6 months of hard work and several independent audits the company was granted the certification’.

The company has had to demonstrate its ability to identify those environmental impacts which could affect the environment and do something which reduces those impacts.

The company quickly identify that we were exceptionally competent with recycling our waste paper.

Mark Farrimond, Managing Director of The Envelope Works stated:

‘Adrian wanted to lead this project for the business, and Adrian quickly sold the idea to me as it would improve the performance of the business, improve our environmental credentials and verify that as a business we are doing good’.
