On August 16th 2013 The Envelope Works Ltd successfully completed the take-over of ACE envelopes, adding this highly successful organisation to its increasing group of companies.

After almost 20years of running ACE envelopes Michael Rubenstein, 79, has taken the decision to retire:

“The business is performing as strongly as ever, so it never even entered my mind to close it. I’ve worked with Mark Farrimond and The Envelope Works for a number of years, so it was a very natural choice for me to contact them and offer them the opportunity to take on ACE envelopes and build upon our successes over the last 19 years.”

Mark Farrimond, Managing Director of The Envelope Works commented:

“Michael and his team have done a fantastic job over the years growing the company and making it into what it has become today – a company that prides itself on the quality, service and range of choices it gives its clients. We are extremely excited to take on the company and add it to our Group.”

Sales Manager Mary Drury will operate ACE envelopes from the Cambridge office of The Envelope Works. Danielle Smith, who is a Senior Account Manager for the Group and is located at the company’s main production plant in Earby, Lancashire, will support Mary.

The Envelope Works now boasts the largest litho envelope printing facility in the UK with 12 machines, printing over 275,000 envelopes per hour in 1-4 colours with UV. With its ISO9001, ISO14001, FSC and PEFC accreditation’s and European supply network, The Envelope Works can offer incredibly competitive envelope solutions of any style, size and quantity.
